Why specter was formed
The future of transportation is going electric. There is a large market need for engineers well-versed in this emerging technology and are willing to meet the aggressive timelines demanded by companies looking to propel themselves to the front of the market. We have the passion and competence to meet these demands.
Our Design Philosophy
We craft electric powertrain solutions that are not only optimized at a component level but are distinguished in their cohesive and symbiotic design at a system level. Our swift and exacting team tangibly connects every design decision to your high-level performance goals.

I am an experienced electrical engineer with a strong history of working on high performance projects in the automotive, motorsports, and aerospace industries. My specialty is high power density SiC and IGBT power electronics with a strong emphasis on mechanical integration.
I consider myself lucky to have found my passion for engineering early on in my life. I designed my first circuit board when I was 14 and have since been honing my understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering. I graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UW-Madison and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC) where I focused on high frequency SiC power converters.
Since then, companies have contracted me to lead various electric vehicle projects because of my depth, breadth, and ability to get things done quickly and effectively. My mission is to develop the most advanced electric powertrain systems in the world and contribute to the evolution of this technology.
